Siomai is a traditional Chinese dumpling. This popular dumpling has made its way to the heart of the Filipino’s as evidenced by the hundreds of stalls, eateries, restaurants and become one of Cebu’s food delicacies. Most people crave siomai because they taste very good and are very affordable. You should eat siomai together with Puso(hanging rice), this is the best combination.

There is a perfect place to get these delectable delights where different walks of life and class status converge even at the wee hours of dawn. Located in Tisa, Labangon, Cebu City, this collection of little stalls line up together in a crowded roadside in an effort to sell “Siomai sa Tisa.”
According to most people, this is where the siomai-mania started in Cebu. Now, siomai stalls are flourishing all over the city. It’s funny how most of these stalls would bear signage saying they sell the “original Siomai sa Tisa.” But when you get to taste them, they are far from the “original.” This food is almost the signature food of Cebu. Enjoy eating with Heart or hanging rice, rice wrapped in coconut leaves.
I hope you enjoy my post guys!😇
